Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and derive functional, system, and performance requirements.
  • Create and maintain various systems engineering documentation, including CONOPs and architecture diagrams.
  • Establish timelines for feature development and manage backlog priorities.
  • Lead documentation efforts and generate status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support operations and maintenance requirements, including project planning and risk management.
  • Validate system designs against current implementations to ensure performance aligns with client expectations.
  • Assist in modernizing data formats and provide engineering support for new and existing systems.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to facilitate project completion and stakeholder engagement.
  • Document data flow processes in accordance with established data management standards.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the customer's data lifecycle management practices.
  • Support IT programs with multiple concurrent projects and deliver cloud-based solutions.
  • Work with diverse storage systems and possess domain knowledge of the customer's operational environment.
  • Manage data processing formats and support big data and cloud storage initiatives.
  • Implement data-driven workflows and adhere to data sharing and sanitization protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with STE/STN objectives and provide hands-on support for enterprise systems.

Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 14 years of experience in systems engineering within similar programs and contracts.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, 5 years of additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Proven experience in leading teams utilizing agile methodologies for software development.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and MS Project/Visio.
  • Experience in planning and executing systems engineering initiatives.

This position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills, ready to take on the challenges of a dynamic work environment.
