Position Overview:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Erickson Senior Living, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Located within a vibrant 98-acre continuing care retirement community, your practice will focus on delivering personalized care without the need for travel, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and therapeutic interventions for speech, language, swallowing, cognition, and voice disorders.
  • Adhere to all relevant Federal, State, and payer regulations, ensuring compliance with ASHA standards and internal policies.
  • Adopt a holistic approach to care, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents.
  • Implement individualized care plans that emphasize residents' strengths and preferences, fostering a sense of comfort and belonging.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure comprehensive care for residents throughout their health journey.

Qualifications:

  • Current CCC certification and training in accordance with Medicare and state regulations.
  • A valid state Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
  • Experience in documentation that meets reimbursement and regulatory standards.
  • Preferred therapeutic experience with older adults across various diagnostic categories.
