The CEO will honor the organization's legacy while introducing innovative initiatives to build upon its achievements, guiding the organization toward new milestones.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Strategic Vision and Leadership

Serve as a dedicated, visionary, and approachable leader for the organization, ensuring all decisions align with the mission and promote a culture of equity, diversity, inclusion, and access.

Identify organizational and community risks and opportunities, safeguard business interests, and lead initiatives to expand programming and resources.

Act as the primary liaison for various committees and undertake additional strategic leadership responsibilities as necessary.

  • Financial Oversight and Operations

Function as the principal representative for fiscal management, overseeing budgets, contracts, and financial operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Lead human resources initiatives and support additional financial oversight and operational responsibilities as required.

  • Fundraising and Revenue Generation

Secure new funding opportunities, engage with donors and funding organizations, and oversee marketing strategies to broaden audiences and increase revenue.

Support additional fundraising and revenue generation responsibilities as necessary.

  • Administrative and Organizational Leadership

Maintain an effective organizational structure, engage with stakeholders, manage the Board of Directors, and support administrative leadership responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The Asian American Arts Alliance offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range expected between $85,000 and $90,000.

Benefits encompass health, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, optional Flexible Spending benefits, a 401(k) retirement plan, generous paid leave policies, and support for professional development.

Qualifications

Demonstrated success in financial management, fundraising, operations, and leadership of complex organizations is essential. Strong skills in revenue generation, a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and exceptional communication abilities are required.

A passion for the arts, familiarity with the industry, experience in education, and a dedication to community engagement are highly valued.
