Role Overview

The Telecom Construction Manager oversees the construction timeline, budget, and quality assurance of projects. This role also involves managing the workforce engaged in construction activities, including direct reports, matrix staff, and external vendors and subcontractors.

  • Ensure adherence to the company's safety protocols, review daily job site safety plans, and halt operations when unsafe practices or conditions are identified.
  • Possess a solid understanding and experience in Construction and Material/BOM Management, collaborating with various departments.
  • Coordinate with the client's engineering team while leveraging the company's engineering and management resources for decision-making.
  • Responsible for scheduling, tracking, measuring, and reporting progress to key stakeholders on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of specific ongoing construction projects.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in wireless construction is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary.
  • Availability for day, night, and weekend work to support project completion is required.
  • Active OSHA-30 Certification or higher is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel is essential.

Physical Requirements: The role involves intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Hand manipulation is necessary for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor tasks. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required. The position may involve exposure to construction site equipment, uneven terrain, dust, gas, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures and humidity levels.
