Position Type: Full Time

Purpose of Position

  1. To safely and effectively transport goods for our clients using a tractor-trailer.

Position Competencies

  1. Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  2. Willingness to operate a Class A tractor-trailer on commercial routes.
  3. Strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements for operating commercial vehicles.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with shippers and consignees.
  5. Capable of lifting 50 lbs and enduring long periods of sitting or standing.

  10. Proficient in electronic communication, including in-cab systems.
  11. Understand regional geography and make efficient travel decisions.

  13. Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections and communicate findings.
  14. Quality Assurance
  15. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of assigned loads.
  16. Notify dispatch of any potential delays immediately.
  17. Initiative
  18. Communicate with dispatch when tasks are completed and ready for the next assignment.
  19. Maintain a consistent schedule throughout the day, taking necessary breaks.
  20. Share suggestions for improvements in all areas of responsibility.

Compensation Structure

The compensation includes a guaranteed daily rate, with additional pay for specific activities such as live loading/unloading and detention time.
