We are currently in search of a committed Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to enhance our operations.

In this position, you will be tasked with cleaning, transporting, and refueling vehicles to guarantee they are ready for passenger use.


Key Responsibilities:

Safety Adherence:
Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines. Utilize hand and power tools responsibly, wear necessary protective gear, and complete all mandated safety training.

Vehicle Transportation:

Safely maneuver vehicles to designated areas for cleaning, park vehicles according to instructions, and transport vehicles off-site as required for servicing or emergencies.


Vehicle Evaluation:

Conduct inspections of vehicles before and after use, document findings, report any concerns, and verify vehicle defect cards against inspection reports to identify damages. Notify supervisors of any major issues.



Vehicle Upkeep:
Ensure vehicles are operational and ready for service by refueling, checking fluid levels, and reporting any damages.

Customer Service:

Prepare vehicles for service by completing all checklist tasks, cleaning both the interior and exterior, managing notices, and ensuring brochure racks are stocked.


Resource Management:
Utilize and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies as necessary, monitor inventory levels, and request additional supplies when needed.

Financial Procedures:
Adhere to internal protocols for fare collection, including checking and replenishing fare media.

Information Sharing:
Respond to inquiries from management regarding vehicle status and availability.

Record Keeping:
Complete all necessary documentation and logs accurately.

Emergency Operations:
Operate transit vehicles to assist backup operators or dispatchers during emergency situations.

Required Qualifications:
Preferred six months of driving experience
Experience in vehicle or truck servicing is advantageous
Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations is beneficial
Proficient in using computer database applications
Capable of maintaining records and generating written reports
Must fulfill hiring criteria, including being at least 18 years old, possessing a satisfactory driving record, and passing background checks as per organizational standards
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Shift:
3:30 PM to Midnight

Salary:
$20.52 per hour

at the time of hire;

$21.66 per hour

after 90 days
