HVAC Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Project Manager to join our team at Scuttlebutt Services, LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of HVAC projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring timely delivery and staying within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define project scope, specifications, and deadlines.
  • Implement effective estimating and turnover standards, recommending process updates as needed.
  • Lead project execution according to our project management methodology, adhering to established project plans.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely product delivery and satisfactory service standards.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Communicate project progress to all stakeholders, including design, permitting, material delivery, labor scheduling, field installation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Participate in bi-weekly Work in Progress (WIP) meetings to reinforce project status.
  • Monitor project performance against the plan, taking action to resolve problems, minimize delays, and follow up on all aspects of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Manage project file structures and work with the supporting coordinator for timely invoicing, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and warranty statements/O&Ms as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of construction/HVAC experience in project management and/or estimating.
  • An outgoing personality with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Timberline Sage 300 CRE experience is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines and work on multiple project tasks simultaneously.
  • Smartsheet experience a plus (or Microsoft Project or similar).
