Job Title: Forklift Lot Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Lot Attendant to join our team at Blue Compass RV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and arrangement of trailers on our lot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to transport trailers to and from service areas and the lot as needed.
  • Park and move RV units in a timely fashion to ensure a clean and organized appearance.
  • Ensure window prices are installed and removed as instructed, and write work orders to track problems and ensure units are in proper working order.
  • Sweep, pick up trash and debris, empty garbage cans, and maintain a clean and professional appearance of the lot.
  • Keep units and equipment secure from weather, and ensure slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened, and doors are unlocked.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
  • Fuel and propane check and refill, stage units, check in new units when they arrive from the factory, and run errands for parts or supplies.
Requirements:
  • Some technician experience is preferred, with towing experience and previous yard tractor and/or forklift experience being a plus.
  • Ability to drive an RV, experience using generators, and operating slide-outs are also beneficial.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending are required, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
