Compensation: $16.00 per Hour

Role Summary:

The Forklift Operator will be tasked with the efficient handling and processing of materials within the warehouse environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Sorting and managing materials for proper disposal.
  • Adhering to the 5S Workplace Program to ensure a systematic approach to work processes and layout.
  • Following all safety and security protocols, including the proper use of equipment and safeguarding of sensitive information.
  • Exhibiting behaviors that align with the company's core values.

Physical Demands:

This role requires working in a manufacturing-like setting, which may necessitate the use of dust masks and/or ear protection. Candidates must be capable of lifting heavy items (between 70lbs to 100lbs) and maneuvering wheeled containers weighing up to 300lbs. Operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other machinery is essential, and candidates must be licensed to do so. Proper personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses, and footwear that meets ASTM F standards, is mandatory. Be prepared for variable temperatures that may reflect external conditions.

Travel Expectations:

Minimal travel required, estimated at less than 10% within the district as necessary.
