Clinical Support Specialist Job Description

MediTelecare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical facilitation and administrative support to our clinicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical facilitation and support to clinicians, including assisting with patient education and technical support for telehealth visits.
  • Assist with chart preparation and Behavioral Health Integration, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Support clinicians by accessing patient data and providing necessary information for clinical visits.
  • Act as a liaison between clinicians and facility staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma required; 1+ year in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Medical Assistant or CNA certification a plus.
  • Basic working knowledge of medical terminology and experience with online healthcare tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
Work Environment:

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will work from a dedicated home office space with a closing door, free from distractions and meeting HIPAA standards. You will also have access to a reliable home internet connection and a valid driver's license.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to cover clinics up to 1 hour in any direction from your home office. You will be required to stand, walk, see, speak, hear, and use your hands and fingers to type or use manual equipment. You may be exposed to bodily fluids, viruses, or other infectious diseases within a healthcare facility.
