We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Researcher to join our team at The Fountain Group. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for performing laboratory-based activities and processes related to the tracking, registration, inventory, preparation, and distribution of biological samples from clinical and non-clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute assigned project activities using established procedures and applying scientific knowledge and accumulated experience to complete projects involving human bio samples processing.
  • Makes recommendations to resolve problems encountered while performing procedures. Analyzes alternative approaches to solve problems or develop new perspectives on existing solutions.
  • Receives general direction; plans and executes own work.
  • Maintains an effective scientific knowledge base and effectively uses broad scientific concepts to resolve problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Responsible for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all assigned projects, tasks, and related activities.
  • Human Specimen handling expertise combined with computational skills in relation to research.
  • Prior experience with human tissue culture and organoid culture and flow cytometry is a plus.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside their functional areas.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or master's graduate with experience in sample management and biological samples.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • $40-48 hourly, depending on experience level.
  • Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm.
  • 12-month contract with potential for extension/conversion.
