Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in optimizing the operations and performance of our Jersey City property. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in property management, a strong understanding of building operations and maintenance, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in coordinating team efforts to achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Oversee daily property operations to ensure a professional, welcoming atmosphere for residents and clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 per year, with potential for bonuses.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

The successful candidate will be able to analyze market trends, contribute ideas to enhance marketing efforts and the resident experience, and maintain accurate records related to rents, deposits, application fees, and resident communications.
