Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at DHR Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse RN
  • Perform various clerical and receptionist duties for an assigned nursing unit
  • Transcribe physicians' orders and maintain accurate patient charts
  • Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate parties
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for patients
Requirements
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
  • Current CNA certification required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous hospital experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of proper telephone etiquette
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in computer skills
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. The individual will spend over 95% of their time in an air-conditioned environment with minimal exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.
