Acelero Learning Monmouth Middlesex County is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team. As an On-Call Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of food services in our Head Start/Early Head Start Program.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the preparation of assigned menus, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations.
  • Deliver food to classrooms and collect dirty dishes, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Utilize proper sanitation procedures to clean dishes and cooking equipment.
  • Inspect food deliveries for accuracy and quality, storing food and supplies properly.
  • Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures, as well as refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen materials and supplies.

**Requirements:**

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
  • A physical exam and background check are required for this position.
