Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Andover Animal Hospital Inc. As a key member of our hospital team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.

• Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to pet owners, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Scheduling and Record Keeping: Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and maintain accurate records of client interactions and pet care information.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform opening and closing procedures, prepare end-of-day reports, and process deposits and payments.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter client information, questionnaires, and referral details into our system.
• Communication: Ensure that referral letters and lab results are delivered to the corresponding veterinarians in a timely manner.

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a veterinary practice or human medical practice is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in email usage, word processing, and Excel is required, as well as experience with front desk equipment.
• Veterinary Terminology: A general understanding of veterinary terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the veterinary team is essential.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to work seated for a majority of the day.
