Ultrasound Tech PT Days Position Summary

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you'll play a vital role in our team, utilizing your expertise to perform diagnostic procedures and provide high-quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and adjust equipment to perform exams, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Implement safety standards and perform routine and complex studies, assisting physicians in various imaging procedures.
  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, and pathology, as well as equipment limitations.
  • Verify patient identity and maintain confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Document patient history, LMP, and clinical information, accessing electronic medical records as needed.

Requirements:
  • Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or Registry Eligible.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography school or Ultrasonography program.
  • At least six months of experience in diagnostic medical sonography or clinical experience in ultrasound.
