Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, as well as performing various technical duties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
- Perform technical duties, such as setting up and operating dialysis machines
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
