Carolina Precision Technologies, a leading contract manufacturer of machined medical devices, is seeking a skilled **Finishing and Assembly Associate** to join our team at our facility in the Philadelphia area. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components by mechanically assembling small, precision machine parts using a variety of hand tools, power tools, drills, and presses.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Produce components by mechanically assembling small, precision machine parts using a variety of hand tools, power tools, drills, and presses.
- Read and follow blueprints and written work instructions to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Periodically check products to ensure quality and alert supervisors to any problems.
- Clean and maintain work area to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Operate laser marking equipment to apply precise markings to finished products.
- Complete documentation as required to meet company standards.
- Manage workflow to meet production standards and deadlines.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
