CannabizTeam is looking for a seasoned Marketing Director to spearhead the company's global marketing efforts.

This role will involve developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to elevate the company's global presence, drive brand awareness, and support sales growth in the cannabis industry.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cannabis market, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global marketing strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Lead multi-channel marketing efforts, including digital marketing, social media, content creation, public relations, and traditional advertising.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to tailor marketing campaigns to local markets, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and maximizing cultural relevance.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Spearhead brand positioning and identity, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice across all channels and markets.
  • Collaborate with sales and product development teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies for new products and innovations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for growth and brand differentiation.
  • Establish KPIs and track performance of marketing initiatives, providing detailed reports to the executive team.
  • Lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Manage external partnerships, including PR agencies, advertising firms, and other vendors to amplify the company's reach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with at least 3 years in the cannabis industry or a highly regulated industry.
  • Proven success in developing and executing global marketing strategies across multiple regions.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and public relations.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis market regulations and the ability to navigate compliance in different regions.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and motivating marketing teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and adapt strategies accordingly.

CannabizTeam is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The compensation package includes a salary of $150,000-160,000 plus medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits.
