Semiconductor Process Development Engineer

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Process Development Engineer to join our III-V process development team. This role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing techniques, including deposition, etch, photolithography, metrology, and process characterization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute process development efforts to improve product yield and develop new processes and device capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and present process development status in team meetings.
- Work autonomously with limited oversight and provide input or guidance to lower-level professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' of prior work experience.
- Experience in semiconductor processing techniques, including photo lithography, dry etching, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Master's or PhD in STEM.
- Experience working in a controlled, cleanroom environment.
- Experience troubleshooting a diverse set of fabrication equipment and establishing equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures.
