Apple is looking for a talented Optical Module Engineering Lead to join our Display Technologies Organization, Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in optics, process development, and equipment design, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with external vendors. They will be responsible for designing new process architectures, customizing and bringing up new equipment, and driving optimization efforts.

Job Description:

  • Design and develop new process architectures for optical modules
  • Customize and bring up new equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
  • Drive optimization efforts, analyzing data and implementing improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal labs and external vendors
  • Communicate results and recommendations to management and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in optics, opto-mechanics, mechatronics, robotics, or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of direct experience in process and equipment development for optical products
  • Strong knowledge of optics, process fundamentals, and equipment design
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with external vendors

Salary: $175,800 - $312,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
