About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in post-acute facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and grooming
  • Monitor blood pressure and other vital signs, and report to your supervisor when necessary
  • Serve meals to residents, helping to feed them when necessary
  • Observe residents during your shift, reporting any concerns to nurses or other staff members
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, keeping residents' rooms tidy, changing linens, and helping to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Serve as a conduit between healthcare staff and residents, and communicate with visitors and family members
  • Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed
  • Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide companionship
Requirements
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terms and nursing care procedures
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and appropriate bedside manner
