Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of medium to large projects of various complexity from award through completion of project.

You will coordinate and/or write change order proposals and project implementation plans to meet Customer requirements. Effectively communicate project requirements to project team and wider organization as and when required and maintain accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.

Act as our customers best service provider at all times thereby ensuring the customers first choice for service. Coordinate the procurement of materials, supplies, services, and controls necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of project within budget.

Establish project milestones and analyze costs. Manage, coordinate, and oversee subcontractor selection process and work performance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, oversee, and coordinate all aspects of medium to large projects of various complexity from award through completion of project.

Requirements
  • Project management experience in commercial construction and/or technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems)
  • Initiative engage in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities and solutions
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions; solid conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
  • Extremely adaptable; responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation Actively seek ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organization
  • Strong financial analytical skills including cost control
  • Solid team leadership, team building and facilitation skills
  • Experience managing client relationships / communications
Education and Experience
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Experience: 5-7 of project management experience required. Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred Experience (but not required): 5 years of previous, relevant engineering, field service or project management experience preferred
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: commercial construction, electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
Certifications and Licenses
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification desirable; industry-specific certifications and/or licenses
