Key Responsibilities:
As a member of a skilled team, you will:

  • Lead projects focused on manufacturing enhancements.
  • Drive operational improvements, including ergonomic assessments and capacity planning.
  • Provide production support, encompassing scheduling and budget forecasting.
  • Identify and prioritize initiatives for process optimization using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Facilitate system integration through value stream analysis and production systems design.

Operational Duties:
You will conduct time motion studies in the field, analyze data to identify operational challenges, and propose effective solutions. Your role will involve:

  • Gathering and interpreting data to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assisting in the design and execution of studies under supervision.
  • Managing and organizing time study data for comprehensive analysis.
  • Updating databases and creating reports to monitor performance metrics.

Health and Safety:
Active participation in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives is essential, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in factory flow and process modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data mining and Excel.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional credentials that would be advantageous include:

  • Experience in Operations Management or an MBA.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) or Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing processes.
