Job Summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer, Controls to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for leading the GE Controls & Accessories quality cross-functional team focused on Engine Test First Time Yield.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the C&A FTY metric at engine test and drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards while managing action items.
  • Function as on-site point of contact for defect investigations.
  • Collaborate with engine assembly and test team to resolve concerns.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Quality discipline as well as analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
  • Awareness of related job disciplines including business operations, purchasing, and engineering.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in aerospace/automotive quality or process engineering roles).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in aerospace/automotive quality or process engineering roles.
  • Previous experience in a Quality role leading RCCA activities; previous experience working directly with customers to resolve concerns.
  • Previous experience in aerospace or automotive industry quality.
