Senior Technical Trainer

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Trainer to support the Federal Aviation Administration Enterprise-Information Display System (E-IDS) project.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, editing, and documenting web-based training in accordance with FAA standards. This includes translating technical and complex system information into user-friendly E-IDS training material and web-based training.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement E-IDS training development and implementation processes.
- Translate technical and complex system information into E-IDS training design elements.
- Develop E-IDS Air Traffic, Technical Operations, Security Data Administration, and Second Level Engineering Course training CDRLs.
- Support Leidos Training and FAA Training reviews of development materials and CDRL activities.
- Generate Course Material to deliver and support Design and Development documents.
- Deliver course materials and provide instruction and support in course revision, and course development.
- Skills in Microsoft 365 Suite, Microsoft Visio, or graphic editor, Articulate Storyline 360 or equivalent animated WBT.
- Demonstrated ability to review and provide editorial comments for content developed by other team members.
- Communicate effectively across team members and external persons.
- Lead projects and influence team to accomplish tasks.
- Requires BS and a minimum of 10+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Extensive background with Web Based Training (WBT) with the ability to translate technical and complex design information into user-friendly E-IDS training material and Web Based Training (WBT).
- Experience with Instructional Design.
- Prior use and knowledge working with Storyline.
- Knowledge of FAA related operations.
- Experience in one of the four FAA subject areas: Air Traffic, Technical Operations Support, Security and Data Administration, Second level Debug and Engineering Support.
$78,000.00 - $141,000.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
