Position Summary:
As a pivotal member of our auditing team, you will oversee and conduct internal audits across the United States, concentrating on credit and lending operations. Your role will involve ongoing monitoring efforts and assessing the efficacy of risk management, control, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement audit plans in line with established policies and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports, communicate findings to senior management, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of work papers, occasionally reviewing the contributions of colleagues.
  • Drive enhancements in the audit process and efficiency, utilizing data-driven methodologies.
  • Conduct validation testing for assigned audit and regulatory issues.
  • Engage in continuous monitoring to pinpoint significant changes and emerging risks.
  • Establish and nurture a trustworthy relationship with management.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities, special projects, and reviews as required.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Extensive understanding of commercial banking and credit/lending operations.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with audit principles, methodologies, and tools; experience with TeamMate+ is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of data analytics techniques and systems is beneficial (e.g., Tableau, Qlik Sense, BI tools, Python).

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of personnel, including senior management.
  • Proven team player with strong leadership qualities.

  • Strong time management skills, capable of multitasking and adjusting priorities as needed.
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience in banking and credit/lending.
  • Experience with foreign banking institutions is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CAMS, or CISA are preferred.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience and skills, ranging from $110,000 to $135,000.
