As a Professional Development Specialist - Ambulatory Nurse Educator at LifeBridge Health, you will provide expert guidance and support to our ambulatory staff, empowering them to deliver exceptional patient care. Under the supervision of the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Practice, you will lead the development and implementation of professional development programs, ensuring that our staff has the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive professional development programs, including orientation, competency assessment, and continuing education, to ensure that our staff is equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify learning needs and develop targeted training programs to address those needs.
- Lead and maintain all clinical programs and courses, evaluating their impact and making recommendations for improvement.
- Provide expert guidance and support to staff, utilizing a variety of teaching styles and techniques to engage adult learners.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research, applying that knowledge to inform professional development programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
- Seasoned professional knowledge, equivalent to a Master's degree, in more than one discipline.
- Nsg Professional Maryland Registered Nurse Certification preferred.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR certification.
