This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the medical clinic in a correctional facility. Key Responsibilities- Manage Mental Health caseload reminders in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Process patients through the EHR system.
- Schedule patients for appointments.
- Disseminate office correspondences to appropriate staff.
- Screen and distribute offender sick call requests.
- Create reminders for sick call and referral upon disposition.
- Track numbers for various reports, including Access to Care and Monthly Activities.
- Act as a courier to facilitate the EMR operation.
- Answer phones, relay accurate messages, and screen calls for clinicians.
- Obtain office supplies and forms when needed.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
