Position Overview:
BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in radiology, whether in human healthcare or veterinary practice.
Compensation: $40.35 per hour
Note: This pay scale serves as a baseline and may vary based on experience and progression through our CareerTrax leveling system.
We also provide competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during evenings and weekends.
Shift Differentials:
- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $6.00 Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize radiologic imaging techniques, focusing on MRI and CT.
- Develop and review imaging protocols.
- Train staff to ensure consistent patient imaging standards.
- Handle patients with compassion and care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and core values in patient handling.
- Interpret and fulfill in-patient and out-patient imaging requests from veterinarians.
- Present hospital estimates clearly to clients.
- Address client inquiries effectively within the scope of the role.
