About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Representative to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our Patient Financial Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of insurance claims and billing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process insurance claims and expediting billing and payments for insurance claims
  • Perform outgoing calls and correspondence to patients and insurance companies to obtain necessary information for accurate billing
  • Respond to incoming calls from Insurance companies requesting additional information and/or checking status of billings
  • Analyze daily correspondence (denials, underpayments) to appropriately resolve issues
  • Assist Customer Service area with patient concerns/questions to ensure prompt and accurate resolution is achieved
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
