Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Longwall Mechanic to join our team at American Consolidated Natural Resources, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in industrial maintenance and a passion for coal mining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on longwall equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and conveyor systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment needs and optimize production efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and maintenance personnel.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on coal mining equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
