Job Title: Underground Coal Miner Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Underground Coal Miner Mechanic to join our team at American Consolidated Natural Resources, Inc. in Cameron, West Virginia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as supporting production on a continuous miner section. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and conveyor systems
  • Support production on a continuous miner section
  • Ensure safe and efficient production of coal
  • Comply with company and mine policies, regulatory policies, and approved procedures
  • Work well with others as part of a team environment
Requirements:
  • 2 years industrial maintenance experience
  • Successfully demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • Valid state issued Underground Electrical Certification
  • Must have state issued Underground Miner Certification
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Reliable transportation
