Job Summary

Columbus Technical College is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time Adjunct Instructor in our Mechatronics Technology Program. This position involves teaching students in mechatronics technology skill areas, developing program and course outlines, and evaluating student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct students in mechatronics technology skill areas, adhering to state standards and ensuring safety and security requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for classroom and hands-on lab instruction.
  • Evaluate student progress in attaining goals and objectives.
  • Ensure effective written and oral communication with students and colleagues.
  • Utilize general computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance within the past five years.
  • Basic computer skills.
