Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator, Spare Parts to join our maintenance and reliability department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory of critical spare parts, improving the CMMS system, and working closely with Engineering and Maintenance to ensure correct parts are available for projects and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a comprehensive maintenance and reliability department of resources, including electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, construction, project management, and technical expertise.
  • Communicate between departments to determine feasibility, prioritization, and requirements to meet goals.
  • Assist with the initial implementation of eMaint X5 CMMS regarding spare parts data input, cataloging, and barcoding.
  • Coordinate with external vendors/contractors when necessary, regarding equipment upgrades, new technology, and project work.
  • Assist with research and planning for long-term reliability goals.
  • Participate in long-term and short-term planning for the maintenance department.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment digital manuals on the server for all to access.
  • Daily inventory transactions, including shipping, adjustments, and receipt of shipments.
  • Assist maintenance staff with locating parts and returning parts as needed.
  • Continuously improve inventory processes by leveraging best practices and eliminating waste.
  • Monitor and suggest actions to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory & inventory losses.
  • Periodic physical inventory count and report.
Requirements
  • 5 years of CMMS/eMaint experience preferred.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, EMaint, Concur, MRP, UKG, etc.).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects for oneself and the team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors for favorable pricing.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to maintain effective communication with all levels of the organizational structure across all departments.
Working Conditions

This position will be working in a fast-paced food processing maintenance environment, both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures. The successful candidate must be willing to assist in maintenance functions during times of critical downtime/shut-down situations.

Physical Requirements
  • Sitting, standing, walking, repetitive use of hands/arms/legs, and eye/hand coordination for 6+ hours a day.
  • Occasional bending, reaching overhead, crouching, balancing, pushing or pulling.
  • Frequent lifting of 50 lbs. or less, occasional need to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to operate cars, trucks, forklifts, and other powered equipment and tools.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE.
Salary Range

$27.50 - $33.85
