Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Innovation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for driving breakthrough innovation across our organization. You will lead global innovation workstreams, develop consumer research and experimentation plans, and analyze data to identify key insights and create compelling value propositions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global breakthrough innovation workstreams, including foundational framework, portfolio strategy, front-end conceptualization, insights plan design, packaging/claim, and product development.
  • Develop consumer research and experimentation plans to identify trends, insights, and innovation opportunities.
  • Analyze data to identify key insights and create compelling value propositions/stories.
  • Steer cross-functional teams across Research & Development, Insights, Finances, Commercialization, and Legal/Regulatory.
  • Lead the stage gate process, ensuring all specifications and timelines are met.
  • Drive strategic and executional alignment with our leadership for international deployment of innovation, through strategic coalition building with lead regions, achieving sponsorship for and adoption of breakthrough platforms, designing robust processes, and engaging with stakeholders to get input and assess options.
  • Lead ongoing post-launch reporting and analysis to measure performance.
  • Create compelling innovation presentations, spec sheets, and sizzles to support sales efforts.
  • Challenge the thinking, pushing for an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Champion a future-forward mindset, acting as an innovation role model within the larger innovation/marketing teams and inspiring our organization with the latest information on new trends in plant-based food, cheese, and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years within CPG or innovation agency/consultancy-type environment.
  • Experience in Food or Beverage a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-starter with a demonstrated comfort with extreme uncertainty – background of identifying new breakthrough opportunities through insights and driving through to execution.
  • Balance between strategic thinking and executional know-how – can define a clear strategy based on insights & analytics, and bring it to life via hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation & influencing skills.
  • Engaging leader who inspires others, always pushing the boundaries on thinking.
  • Passion for innovation and the consumer, always looking for 'what's next'.
