Position Overview:

The Material Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in the efficient handling and movement of materials across the facility. This position encompasses various responsibilities including the loading and unloading of trailers, as well as the transportation of raw materials and work in progress.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Material Movement:**
- Facilitate the transfer of materials to and from raw, work-in-progress, finishing, receiving, and manufacturing zones.

2. **Loading and Unloading:**
- Manage the unloading and loading of trucks and tankers with incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accuracy by verifying against shipping and receiving documentation.

3. **Inventory Management:**
- Execute necessary transactions to accurately document material movements within the Inventory Management System.

4. **Inventory Accuracy Support:**
- Conduct warehouse and departmental cycle counts, addressing any discrepancies found.
- Assist in the management of winding drum and rack inventories.

5. **Warehouse Operations:**
- Retrieve and transfer material racks, pallets, and other supplies to and from production areas as needed.
- Optimize warehouse space and uphold cleanliness standards.

6. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to established procedures and practices. Proactively address and report any unsafe conditions.

7. **Quality and Productivity Improvement:**
- Engage in activities aimed at enhancing quality and productivity within the operations.

8. **Work Area Maintenance:**
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

9. **Equipment Maintenance Support:**
- Assist with equipment maintenance tasks as directed.

10. **Communication and Coordination:**
- Relay necessary information to relevant department and shift personnel to ensure seamless operations.

11. **Recycling Initiatives:**
- Take the lead in recycling efforts for pallets, cardboard, and scrap materials.

12. **5S Housekeeping Support:**
- Actively participate in all 5S housekeeping initiatives.

13. **Additional Duties:**
- Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by management.
