Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Truck Driver and GSA/Licensing Coordinator to join our team at Skookum Aerospace Manufacturing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for performing cargo delivery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cargo delivery as assigned, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Maintain equipment, including vehicles and trailers, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Ensure all equipment is fully operational before each shift, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Keep accurate trip logs and maintain records of materials and products transported.
  • Secure cargo for transportation and maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Manage GSA vehicles, including scheduling for delivery, maintenance, and return, and assist with movements as needed.
  • Manage the military licensing program, providing training for military personnel on truck and bus driving.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A required.
  • 6 months experience as a vehicle operator required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance company.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
