Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care in the Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for surgical procedures by arranging sterile setups and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Count and verify surgical sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
  • Participate in the care and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless and efficient procedures.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Certification preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
