Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care in the Operating Room. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours a week, with a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

Prepares for scheduled operative procedures by arranging sterile setups of instrument tables with drapes, instruments, and sutures required for the procedure.
Passes instruments, sponges, sutures, and other sterile supplies and equipment to surgeons and assists during procedures.
Assists RNs with circulating duties such as opening supplies, assisting with positioning, obtaining equipment and supplies, bagging sponges, and preparing the operative site.
Counts sponges, needles, and instruments used during surgery and assists with dressing of the operative site following closing.

Requirements

Associates degree in Surgical Technology or two years of surgical technologist experience.
Certification preferred.
