Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing direct and indirect patient care in the Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for scheduled operative procedures by arranging sterile setups of instrument tables, drapes, instruments, and sutures.
  • Pass instruments, sponges, sutures, and other sterile supplies and equipment to surgeons and assist during procedures.
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments used during surgery and maintain accurate records.
  • Operate and care for surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies according to department policy and manufacturer recommendations.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
