Job Title: Security Guard 3rd Shift

Flex-N-Gate Corporation is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, recognized for its commitment to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Guard to join our team on the 3rd shift.

Job Summary

The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of company assets, employees, guests, and others on company property. This includes performing COVID screening, working 2nd Shift and weekends when scheduled, and ensuring compliance with organizational security activities and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and subordinates to ensure seamless operations.
  • Gather and analyze information to identify potential security risks and threats.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to foster a culture of trust and respect.
  • Make informed decisions and solve problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Follow organizational security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of company assets and personnel.
  • Prepare reports related to security matters and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Perform interior and exterior patrols, including stairs, to ensure the security and integrity of company property.
  • Work in various environments, including outdoors, for extended periods of time.
  • Follow all safety requirements and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Support company policies and procedures, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Work overtime as required to ensure the security and safety of company assets and personnel.
Requirements
  • Security/Law Enforcement/Military background of at least 2 years or more and a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information.
  • Highly motivated and service-oriented individual with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
