Role Responsibilities

The Logistics Specialist will play a crucial role in the planning and procurement processes for various production materials. This position will also serve as a key user of SAP for one of the logistics-related modules. Additionally, the specialist may be tasked with designing and implementing new processes for the refurbishment and cleaning of production assets, adhering to Bosch's lean principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various divisions to shape future logistics processes.
  • Contribute to our Global Logistics Organization by developing, implementing, and managing strategies for optimal solutions.
  • Transform existing processes into innovative, future-oriented systems utilizing the latest logistics and IT technologies.
  • Drive proactive planning and procurement for production materials.
  • Act as a key user for relevant SAP logistics modules.
  • Design and implement new processes for asset refurbishment and cleaning, following lean methodologies.
  • Support the management of a potential future on-site free trade zone.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics sector.
  • Travel as necessary, including international trips.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field, preferably with a focus on Logistics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an operational setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in SAP/R3, particularly in logistics-related modules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in purchasing is advantageous.
  • Background in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • A self-motivated, conscientious team player with strong business acumen.
  • A hands-on approach with a willingness to adapt to new tasks in a dynamic setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Additional Information
  • This role requires on-site presence.
  • Work schedule is Monday to Friday, with additional hours as needed.
  • Only individuals authorized to work in the U.S. will be considered for this position.
