HCM Reporting Specialist, Oracle

The HCM Reporting Specialist position primarily focuses on leveraging Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and data to collect, evaluate, and produce reports that facilitate informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- At least five (5) years of robust analytical experience with the capability to interpret intricate HR/payroll data, utilizing data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL (including Oracle OTBI, FDI / FAW, Tableau, Power BI) for managing and analyzing extensive datasets.
- A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience with the Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud platform, including its tables, databases, report writing tools, and data architecture.
- Proficiency in Oracle report writing (OTBI, FDI / FAW and/or BIP) is essential.
- Skill in crafting visually engaging reports and dashboards that effectively convey complex HR data and insights to non-technical audiences.
- Comprehension of HR processes, metrics, and compliance standards to accurately interpret and analyze HR data.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data precision and to detect data anomalies or inconsistencies.
- Capability to identify data-related challenges, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
- A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team environment.
- Awareness of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with Google Suite.
- Licenses/Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), and Six Sigma certifications.
- Education: A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) may be advantageous.
- Data Analysis: Gather and validate data from various HCM systems, including HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), payroll, and talent management systems, particularly Oracle HCM and its associated modules.
- Report Development: Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to showcase metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders, including executives and business leaders from finance, accounting, and operations teams using Oracle (OTBI, FAW/FDI) and Google tools.
- Data Interpretation: Examine HR data to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations, providing actionable recommendations to enhance HR processes, talent management, and workforce planning.
- User Support and Training: Offer end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving financial reporting issues. Conduct training sessions and develop user documentation to encourage effective use of reporting from the Oracle ERP system. Collaborate with business partners to address user feedback, identify report enhancements, and implement ongoing improvements.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate reports to fulfill regulatory and compliance obligations, such as EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) reporting or diversity and inclusion metrics.
- Data Governance: Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by establishing and upholding data governance policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside HR business partners, talent acquisition teams, compensation and benefits specialists, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insights that align with organizational objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, automate data collection and analysis, and enhance data visualization techniques to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
