**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to oversee and manage the successful execution of all special events, parties, and weddings hosted at Fearrington Village. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the catering staff, ensuring adherence to event plans, and upholding our high company standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Review upcoming event details and requirements to ensure seamless execution
  • Hire, train, and supervise special events staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Develop staff through training sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Prepare schedules and paperwork efficiently to minimize errors and delays
  • Ensure customer expectations are met with equipment and supplies to maintain high levels of satisfaction
  • Oversee event setup and service to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests
  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
  • Manage end-of-event procedures including billing and cleanup to maintain a professional and organized environment

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum age of 21+
  • Previous experience in restaurant/banquet positions with a focus on event planning and coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
