Position Overview:

This is an onsite role focused on overseeing construction projects within an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong local presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in construction management, particularly in industrial projects.
  • Lead project initiatives effectively, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
Summary:

The role encompasses the management of construction projects, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for various facilities.

The candidate will be responsible for integrating layouts for plant, office, and production equipment to maximize operational efficiency and facility utilization.

This includes reviewing and managing costs associated with equipment, installation, labor, materials, and other related expenses.

Additionally, the candidate will develop performance specifications and criteria for facilities and equipment to meet specific operational needs and adhere to building and safety codes.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will apply leadership skills and possess extensive technical engineering knowledge, demonstrating the ability to solve complex technical challenges through innovative thinking. Work will be conducted with a high degree of autonomy, with completed projects reviewed for long-term effectiveness. The candidate will serve as the primary technical lead, interacting regularly with senior management and coordinating efforts across various departments.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution is preferred.
  • Degrees in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering are prioritized, though candidates with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering backgrounds and relevant project management experience will also be considered.
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect credentials, along with PMP certification and an MS in engineering, are advantageous.
