Info on the project and company:

BoxPower is a solar microgrids company that specializes in the design and construction of prefabricated solar+battery+propane off-grid power systems. Due to fire risk created by the aging overhead distribution lines in the Garland/Newville valley near Corning, CA, PG&E is replacing the overhead electric service with an end-of-the-line power generation asset. BoxPower has been contracted to design and construct a prefabricated solar+battery system to permanently serve the electric demand at the customer meters in Garland/Newville valley -- the facility will not be reconnected to the central electric grid. BoxPower is subcontracting the civil work and portions of the equipment assembly, and will require supervision of all subcontractor activities during these phases of the project. After the subcontractor scope has concluded, BoxPower's commissioning and communications tech crew will deploy to site to support completion of the project.
