POSITION OVERVIEW:

First impressions are crucial. As a Cleaning Services Associate, you will play a vital role in creating positive experiences for residents, visitors, and staff. This position may involve working in various locations within the Loomis Communities. You will ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will promote collaboration and maintain a positive attitude, striving to provide the highest quality of service. The role involves maintaining orderliness by adhering to established policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute job duties in alignment with the mission and objectives of the Loomis Communities, adhering to the Compliance and Ethics Program.
  • Demonstrate respect and awareness of the diversity of individuals you interact with, including residents, staff, families, and other stakeholders, reflected in your attitudes and service delivery.
  • Perform cleaning tasks following a systematic seven-step process to ensure top-notch cleaning services across all areas. Responsibilities may include floor, carpet, and upholstery cleaning in common areas, room setups, laundry services, and other assigned duties.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner. Manage the community's equipment responsibly and report any issues to your supervisor. Properly and safely utilize cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and company standards. Work independently with minimal supervision while consistently exceeding resident expectations and adhering to current policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental and mandatory community meetings and complete required training sessions.
  • Comply with all CARF/CCAC guidelines and standards, demonstrating knowledge of and proficiency in OSHA and local regulations related to assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Experience:
  • 1 year of relevant experience
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Capable of addressing problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to relate well to all residents, including those who may be emotionally distressed, have communication challenges, or are in emergency situations.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work beyond regular hours when necessary.
