About the Position: Schneck Medical Center is seeking an experienced Acute Care Pulmonologist Assistant to join our Respiratory Therapy department. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the hospital's mission.

Compensation Details: The estimated hourly wage for this role is $24.79-$23.50, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Additionally, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for RRT or $5,000 for CRT registration. Key Responsibilities: As an Acute Care Pulmonologist Assistant, your main duties will include:
• Analyzing patients' respiratory status and creating personalized treatment plans
• Conducting pulmonary function tests and reviewing results
• Administering medications and performing aerosol therapy treatments
• Coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting patient outcomes

Required Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you will need:
• An Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner license and RRT registration (RRT preferred)
• Completion of clinical experience required for graduation from AMA-approved Respiratory Care training program
• Minimum two years of acute care experience in Respiratory Care with Arterial Blood Gas puncture experience/skill; Critical Care experience; Pulmonary Function experience; EEG experience (Preferred)
• CPR certification and ACLS certification within one year of hire
