Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to become an integral part of our finance team. Shift: Day, no nights or weekends

Key Responsibilities:
- Support general ledger management, including preparing financial schedules, creating journal entries, and reviewing G/L coding on invoices.
- Facilitate the corporate closing process for all entities, ensuring accurate monthly accruals.
- Collaborate with Regional Accounting Offices and Controllers to ensure precise accounting for new practices, including initial balance sheet entries and adjustments.
- Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of various records and accounts, particularly balance sheets and fixed asset records.
- Manage the fixed asset system effectively.
- Assist in reviewing monthly Practice Reporting Packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide analytical support as needed.
- May serve as a mentor to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
- CPA certification or completion of CPA exam sections is advantageous.
