Key Responsibilities:

  • Support general ledger management, including preparing financial schedules, creating journal entries, and reviewing G/L coding on invoices.
  • Facilitate the corporate closing process for all entities, ensuring accurate monthly accruals.
  • Collaborate with Regional Accounting Offices and Controllers to ensure precise accounting for new practices, including initial balance sheet entries and adjustments.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of various records and accounts, particularly balance sheets and fixed asset records.
  • Manage the fixed asset system effectively.
  • Assist in reviewing monthly Practice Reporting Packages for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide analytical support as needed.
  • May serve as a mentor to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
  • CPA certification or completion of CPA exam sections is advantageous.
